We’re a UK legal software company specialising in civil legal costs and we’re looking for a Delphi Developer to join our team.
The successful applicant will ideally have an in depth knowledge of Delphi/Object Pascal for a desktop Windows application though applicants with familiarity with the UK Legal Costs System and knowledge of other programming languages will be considered. The role is varied and whilst predominantly Delphi-based, requires a versatile coder who is happy to dip their toes in other waters. The person be able to work as part of a team but also to manage their own workload and projects, as responsibility for areas of the code will be given to them.
The successful applicant will either have or be willing and able to quickly acquire the following:
- Using Object Pascal with the Windows API
- Some knowledge of database programming and SQL
- Some knowledge of internet comms programming and interacting with third party APIs
- Basic knowledge of Linux and managing virtual machines
- Experience of SharePoint integration and developing Software as a Service applications would also be useful
Location: Remote Working – very occasional in-person meeting
Hours: 28-37 hours a week flexible if required
Holiday entitlement: 24 days + Bank Holiday annual leave pro rata
Salary: negotiable depending on terms
This position would suit someone with a working knowledge of costs and some programming ability, perhaps looking for a change of direction.
