If you are still using a dongle for licensing, you might want to consider swapping to a software product key. Dongles have not been issued for many years now and with the majority of our clients using product keys, there will soon come a time when CostsMaster no longer works with a dongle.
Software product keys are more reliable as there is no hardware to fail and no driver issues to contend with. Individual dongles can be replaced with individual product keys which function almost identically and are easier to manage if working from multiple locations. Alternatively, clients with two or more licences can opt for an online product key which gives you access to your CostsMaster licence from any location and is ideal for larger clients with virtualised systems. We also offer a network product key if you want to keep your licensing within your network and can provide a physical machine to run the licence server.
When transitioning users from dongles, we issue you with a fully functioning but time-limited product key to enable you to transfer users over at your own pace. When you are happy that everything is working you can return your dongles to us and upon receipt we will convert the temporary key into a full licence.
